MODLAN V87 · SECURITY REGRESSION

Security must survive every candidate.

V87 turns application, API, session, authorization, abuse, supply-chain, browser, tenant and service-surface controls into repeatable release evidence. It tests the architecture MODLAN already owns instead of creating a redundant security product.

V87 DOCTRINE

Secure is a repeatable result—not a label.

Every material security assertion must remain tied to the exact candidate, environment, control definition, expected behavior, actual behavior, finding disposition and reviewer.

SECURE ≠ SCANNED

A scanner result is one evidence source. Security qualification requires context, ownership, expected behavior, actual behavior, and candidate binding.

DENY ≠ SAFE WITHOUT PROOF

Expected-deny tests must also prove that no protected mutation, export, link, queue message, cache entry, or other side effect occurred.

ADMIN ≠ OMNITENANT

V82/V83 authority rules remain binding during security regression. Privilege does not erase tenant scope.

MISSING ≠ PASSING

A required security suite that did not execute cannot silently become green.

CLAIM ≠ CERTIFICATION

Internal security evidence may support product representations and release decisions but is not itself a legal opinion, regulatory determination, or independent certification.

SECURITY REGRESSION COMMAND

Challenge the candidate. Preserve the boundary.

Synthetic control model only. This public surface does not execute attacks, scan production systems, access customer tenants, or persist security findings.

CONTROL FAMILY

Application Security

Prevent injection, unsafe rendering, insecure redirects, untrusted file behavior, and privilege-sensitive client assumptions.

DISCOVER

Every security decision must remain reconstructable to the exact candidate, test identity, environment, expected result, actual result, finding disposition, and reviewer.

SECURITY BOUNDARY MAP

Defense follows the operating path.

V87 does not add another source of truth. It tests the controls already protecting each layer and returns evidence to the V84 release fabric.

PUBLIC

Service + Marketing Surfaces

Detailed public content remains non-sensitive; forms and downloads must not become shadow intake channels for protected claim/evidence data.

SERVICE EXPERIENCE INTEGRITY

Deep service pages stay deep—and stay safe.

MODLAN's service catalog is intentionally broad and expert-led. V87 protects that design rather than flattening it into duplicated templates.

DISTINCT

Each service retains service-specific scope, methodology, deliverables, expertise and calls to action.

PRECISE

Security, compliance, investigative and technical claims use bounded language and do not manufacture certifications.

MINIMIZED

Public pages do not solicit protected case, evidence, credential, or unnecessary personal data.

CONTROLLED

Forms, links, downloads, scripts and conversion paths inherit the same browser/API/security gates as core platform surfaces.

LEGAL / ASSURANCE PRECISION

Security evidence supports decisions; it does not manufacture legal conclusions.

V87 findings, scans, regression tests, threat simulations and control evidence may support internal release, security, risk, procurement and audit decisions. They are not, standing alone, a legal opinion, regulatory determination, independent penetration-test certification, or third-party compliance attestation.

NEXT BUILD · V88

Privacy Operations.

V88 will operationalize minimization, purpose, retention, deletion, disclosure, vendor handling, data inventories and privacy-event evidence while preserving the same tenant, security and legal boundaries.
